We've scheduled 2 half day tours for you, including a horseback trail ride and inflatable kayaking on the Flathead River. You can easily squeeze in Whitefish Mountain's zipline tour on one of those days as well.
That leaves you with a full day, if not more, to head into Glacier National Park and explore on your own. Make sure to drive the Going to the Sun Road and go on a hike or two.
The cabins were built on site and offer clean, private, spacious accommodations. They include kitchenettes with refrigerators, a large front porch, wi-fi, air conditioning and a full bathroom. Bedding varies by unit, but can sleep up to 6.
Enjoy 2 hours of exhilarating fun zipping through the trees while harnessed to a cable extended between two towers.
Tours accommodate 12-14 people and reservations are required. Tours are on the hour. Guest must arrive 30 minutes prior to tour.
Requirements: Weight restrictions between 60-230 pounds. Must wear closed toe shoes. Helmet is provided.
Ride one of our many beautiful trails in the Swan River District of the Flathead National Forest. The 1/2 day ride will allow you to get to greater elevations and experience get views of the surrounding peaks that make this area famous. We'll also stop for lunch along the way.
Our trail system consists of over 50 miles of well maintained trails. This area of northwest Montana is often referred to as "glacier country" and is filled with a rich abundance of wildlife due to the high concentration of protected wilderness areas in this part of the state.
Whether as a solo adventurer or with the expedition partner of your choice, individual or tandem inflatable kayaks are a great way to get up close and personal with Montana whitewater. They can be added to any of the Glacier Raft Company's whitewater trips, along with an experienced guide to follow. Helmets, wetsuits, and neoprene booties are included. Half-day whitewater trips offer the perfect opportunity to get a taste of adrenaline while sampling phenomenal views into Glacier National Park without having to commit your whole day. The 2.5 hour trip takes place on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River and begins amongst the eye-popping vistas of Nyack Flats before flowing through the exhilarating whitewater of John Stevens Canyon. As you embark from shore your guide will give you detailed safety info and paddling instruction. Once you'??ve had a chance to hone your paddling skills on a couple miles of easygoing current the river narrows and the fun begin on rapids like Tunnel, Bone Crusher, and Jaws.
