Overview: Legends of Whitefish say that when the winter fog rolls in the Penguins and Vikings watch over the townspeople and keep the Yetis at bay. Legend. maybe not. But fun nonetheless. This is all part of the Whitefish Winter Carnival held each year to celebrate the fun nature of the people of Whitefish.

Details: Several events happen each day. And all are family-friendly. Take note of the Penguin Plunge, the Hockey Tournament, Fiesta La Noche, Kid Carnival and the Grand Parade among other noted events. Events typically start mid-morning and run through the early evening or later with live music schedule nightly.
